Each time we suggest our expert members to clients, we thoroughly review whether the expert is risk-free to provide consultation on the research topic, based on the current & previous employment information that is provided by the expert and/or double-checked by our project managers.
We try our best to prevent experts from participating in projects that may cause any legal conflict to any party. Some (but not all) criteria for our expert eligibility review are as follows:
- Current employment by the subject companies
- Confidentiality agreement with the subject companies
- Audit and/or consultation experience on the subject companies
- Current employement by a company engaging in a tender offer or an IPO
Our recruiters are regularly educated to screen out current employees of the project topic, and our in-house interview managers double-check each expert's profile and employer status before the experts are officially recruited and suggested to our clients.
We also provide a ready-to-review document on each expert we suggest, containing information on the expert's detailed profile and employment history, so that our clients can also review the experts by their own unique compliance standards.
Based on the information on the review document, our clients can make sure that the expert candidates are clear to provide consultation on the research topic.
We do our best to prevent our clients and experts from inadvertently soliciting or revealing confidential information about our experts' employers, current or previous. We remind all interview participants the key rules to abide by, before the interview begins.
The key rules are:
1) Participants may not ask about or discuss the expert's current employer (including parent and subsidiaries), regardless of the topic.
2) Participants may not ask about or discuss the expert's previous employers' (including parent and subsidiaries) confidential information.
3) Participants may not ask about or discuss any information that is under the expert's confidentiality contract or in conflict with the expert's current profession (e.g. FDA Advisor, Government official, etc.).
4) In case of violation of rules 1), 2), or 3), participants may exit the interview without consent.
5) Experts may not disclose the client's interest and information obtained during the interview.
We make sure that when we suggest an expert, the expert's information is up to date. Our unique digital platform experience allows our experts to easily update their profile, before each suggestion is made to a client.
Our in-house interview managers review the verification of each and every expert profiles submitted to our office through a screening interview and rigorous research. We conduct screening interviews with experts prior to suggesting to clients, making sure that the claimed profile and knowledge is valid. We also make sure that the profile is in accordance with the information we acquired through various reference check and desk research (e.g. LinkedIn, Company website, Journals, Articles, etc.).
